anyways, about that question, you can't get notified from when someone posts news post, if that was the case, my notification would be completely banged with alot of news posts xDDD
atho you can still try doing that, people can still see it, whenever they come across your news post through front page's news post, checks their feed on homepage, or your fans checks up on you :)
