On gaiaonline.com, you're at the mercy of people's vote and I remember being pissed at the low votes I used to get and my first thought was this is people playing a game with me, they don't want me to get the good votes. Maybe my art was worse than I remember, who knows?

I just had a tiny slice of one of those small lemon cakes (didn't like it but wanted to be fancy for once) with my tea and I'm off to vote some more for reasons I don't know.

Like I still don't know the meaning of "vote power" does it mean that when I have lots of vote power, I can send art to the front page with one 5 star vote or something? Lol...

So it's my second day on this website, I joined yesterday, I will try to upload some more art. Currently I have uploaded old art but I will try to highlight recent art in the description. (Although I usually sign and date my art unless I forgot)

So far I like the ease of uploading artwork to this website, I feel inspired to upload more. I will try to keep off imperfect art because maybe an artwork will get downvoted to high hell if there's an awkward issue with it. I'm tempted to upload some imperfect art because I like them but again I will try to keep that off the art portal or whatever it's called. Fingers cross, I post and make better art because my inner critic is coming out. Also I don't want to let down the person who scouted me. Thank you again Marckel for scouting me.

Only problem I have lately is a chronic illness that makes day to day living difficult, it affects my mentality and even blocks me from being well enough to make art too, I zone out a lot and avoid things etc.

I just thought it would be important be open about that. Like I want to be able to churn out some amazing better art all the time but can't help what's going on in my mind and body, it's leaving me feeling...idk. ZOMBIE-LIKE and suicidal from time to time.

Do people actually get notified on this news post? I was wondering because maybe I can spam about whatever I get passionate about? If not then I should probably take up livejournal again.
